Jan Oberholzer is a highly respected figure in South Africa’s electricity industry. As Chairman of Mulilo Energy Holdings, he brings extensive energy sector experience. Previously, he served as Group COO at Eskom, overseeing various divisions. Jan’s diverse career spans leadership roles at SN Power ACA, Stefanutti Stocks Holdings, and a 26-year tenure at Eskom. A renowned speaker, he holds degrees in electrical engineering and business leadership, along with executive training from the University of Michigan. Jan was a board member at EPRI (USA).
Johnny has had a history of success in the construction, property and energy sectors. He founded the diversified construction group CSV Construction (PTY) Ltd. as well as a substantial property group with interests in the commercial and industrial sectors. He was also one of the original vendors of the very successful JSE-listed property group Equites. He co-founded Mulilo in 2008.
Chris has a background in electrical engineering and is experienced in a wide range of business areas, including the development and operation of the energy and mining sectors in South Africa, Angola, Lesotho and Namibia. Chris has held business interests in power, mining, aviation, fishing, export and property development companies and co-founded Mulilo. He plays a key role in bringing together financial institutions and government on energy and infrastructure developments in Africa.
Russell has gained wide-ranging experience from holding senior financial management positions in the media industry, agriculture, and general management positions in the chemical, steel and plastics manufacturing industries. At Mulilo he applies this experience in supporting the other role players in developing renewable energy projects.
Constantin has led teams of highly skilled professionals to successfully structure, develop and commission several billion Rands worth of projects in the renewable energy sector across Southern Africa.
Warren is an electro-mechanical engineer, having graduated from the University of Cape Town where he also specialised in renewable energy engineering, obtaining a master’s degree in Engineering for Renewable and Sustainable Energy. He oversees all aspects of the company’s utility-scale solar and battery storage portfolio.
Jannie is a qualified industrial engineer as well as an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Having worked on various large-scale renewable and thermal energy projects in Europe and Africa, he is the Group’s head of operations and is responsible for the closing, procurement, construction and operations of Mulilo’s projects.
Nikita is an electrical engineer, having obtained both a BEng and MEng (Electrical) at the University of Stellenbosch. She has a background in engineering during the O&M phase of energy generation facilities. She is the General Manager of Mulilo Asset Management, responsible for the operational sites in Mulilo’s portfolio.
Mulilo has acquired extensive knowledge and experience in developing, financing, constructing and operating utility scale renewable generation projects, including wind, solar, gas to power, BESS and transmission infrastructure.
